Automotive Cost / VAVE Engineer (Powertrain / Sheet Metal)

Type: Full-Time

Location: Dearborn MI


Key Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in automotive VAVE / cost engineering, with strong expertise in should-costing and cost breakdown.

• Experience in Powertrain systems (engine, transmission, driveline) OR Underbody/Exhaust (sheet metal, stamping, welding).

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (injection molding, stamping, welding, assembly) and CAD tools (CATIA V5 or NX).

• Experience working with OEMs/Tier-1 suppliers, including supplier collaboration, cost negotiations, and cross-functional teams.

Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
