Job Description:-
- Administer and maintain enterprise DNS platforms including AWS Route53, Azure DNS, Infoblox, Vercara UltraDNS, and DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM) solutions.
- Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise DNS infrastructure across on-premises and multi-cloud environments.
- Manage the complete DNS lifecycle including domain provisioning, delegation, zone management, record administration, migration, optimization, and decommissioning.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure DNS architectures following enterprise security standards and best practices.
- Configure and manage internal and external DNS services to ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience.
- Implement DNS security controls including DNSSEC, secure zone transfers, access controls, threat protection, and DNS monitoring.
- Perform DNS troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization for complex enterprise environments.
- Design and implement automation solutions for DNS provisioning, configuration management, and lifecycle management using Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code modules to automate deployment and management of DNS infrastructure.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and other DevOps tools to automate infrastructure deployment and configuration changes.
- Automate DNS record creation, updates, validation, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to integrate DNS services into enterprise cloud platforms.
- Manage cloud DNS services across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Configure and maintain DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management) solutions to improve network visibility and operational efficiency.
- Administer enterprise IP Address Management (IPAM) systems, subnet allocation, IP tracking, and network inventory.
- Design and implement secure network routing solutions supporting WAN technologies and enterprise connectivity.
- Configure and maintain enterprise LAN switching infrastructure to support high-performance network communication.
- Implement and maintain network security policies, firewall integrations, access controls, and secure DNS communication.
- Monitor DNS infrastructure, network performance, availability, and capacity using enterprise monitoring and observability tools.
- Troubleshoot DNS resolution issues, routing problems, switching failures, latency, and network connectivity incidents.
- Support production environments by resolving critical incidents and performing root cause analysis for network and DNS-related issues.
- Implement high-availability, redundancy, failover, and disaster recovery solutions for DNS and network infrastructure.
