Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Data Analyst with 3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights, developing reports and dashboards, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and advanced formulas.
- Experience analyzing large datasets and identifying trends, patterns, and business insights.
- Knowledge of data cleansing, validation, and quality assurance processes.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Basic experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Understanding of data modeling concepts and reporting best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience working with business intelligence and reporting solutions.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and predictive analytics.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Industry experience in government, healthcare, finance, or insurance is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business objectives.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities through data analysis.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms.
- Create ad hoc reports and perform data validation as needed.
- Support data-driven decision-making by providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and leadership teams on data initiatives.
- Document data definitions, reporting logic, and business metrics.
