Job Title : Sr. Data Engineer (Legacy Data Engineer)
Client: McLane
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
Type: Full-Time Direct Hire
Salary: $120K $140K Base
Interview: 2 Virtual Final Onsite (Austin, TX)

Required Skills:

  • 5 years of Data Engineering experience
  • Advanced SQL development (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Strong Data Warehouse concepts (ETL, ELT, Dimensional Modeling, Data Marts, OLAP)
  • ETL pipeline development and optimization
  • Linux Shell Scripting (Bash, Korn Shell/KSH)
  • Mainframe experience (JCL, Datasets, Utilities)
  • IBM Cognos Analytics (or similar BI reporting tool)
  • SQL query optimization, Stored Procedures, Performance Tuning
  • Batch Processing and Scheduling
  • Data Modeling
  • Data Integration
  • Troubleshooting Data Quality and Performance Issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
