- IT experience delivering enterprise data solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse architecture.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python or Scala.
- Experience with Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines (DLT), Lakeflow Jobs (Databricks Workflows), or comparable orchestration tools.
- Experience with dimensional data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas) and data warehousing.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and data quality frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer (Associate or Professional).
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and Git-based development workflows.
- Experience supporting public sector or state government environments.
