Tejeras Freight Group is looking for a reliable, safety-focused Class A CDL driver to join our growing fleet. This is a local/regional intermodal position with consistent freight, home daily, and well-maintained equipment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and wants to grow with a company.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer.
- Transport intermodal containers to and from ports, rail yards, and customer locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Complete all required paperwork and electronic logs accurately.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, and delays.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and represent the company well.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and physical.
- TWIC card preferred (or willingness to obtain one).
- Safe driving habits and strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills.
- Intermodal experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate. What We Offer
