What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Healthcare Information Services position at TEEMA?
We are seeking an experienced Director of Information Services to lead strategic technology initiatives that support clinical operations and enhance healthcare delivery. This is a 3 month contract to direct hire.
This role will partner with executive leadership and operational teams to design, implement, and optimize critical healthcare systems while driving continuous improvement in application services. The Director will oversee multiple initiatives, lead high-performing teams, and ensure technology solutions align with mission and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of key healthcare information systems
- Oversee multiple projects and ensure successful delivery across a complex, multi-site environment
- Partner with business and clinical leaders to support organizational objectives
- Monitor operational performance and drive process improvements
- Establish service levels and ensure high quality end user support
- Recruit, mentor, and develop information services team members
- Communicate with senior leadership on program direction, progress, and outcomes
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of leadership experience in Information Technology
- Experience leading projects in a complex, multi-site environment
- Experience with enterprise healthcare systems, Epic preferred
- Knowledge of ITIL service delivery processes
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Budgeting and resource management experience
Schedule
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Full Time
Travel and occasional extended hours may be required during major implementations.
