Position Summary
Change and administer technical documentation pertaining to the orderly flow of processes within the Forged Products business. Interact with other internal departments in order to assure proper and necessary data is used for documentation files. Carry out the following duties working with Project Engineers, Design Engineers and Engineering Manager. The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet’s principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.

Principle Responsibilities
- Job packages: prepare for weekly production; prepare special jobs
- Process sheets: revise and enter computer after review.
- Drawings/customer: receive, record, and issue as required
- Operation sheets: revise document.
- Specifications/general: file and issue as required.
- Prepare documentation review reports and reports and inconsistencies to engineering supervisor immediately.
- Maintain related records and computer files in up-to-date condition. Follow established company/department rules and regulations and maintain quality standards.
- Perform other related duties as required or directed.
- Assist Project Engineers to develop operation instructions required to manufacture parts consistently.
- Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by supervisor.
Qualification Requirements
- Equivalent to high school plus additional specialized training.
- Knowledge of a variety of office and department functional procedures and operation of office equipment.
- Use computer and all usual office equipment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
- Familiarity with Network Communications, Manufacturing Drawings, Data Base Systems
- Manufacturing Organization and entering Customer Orders and Understanding P.O. Terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise judgment
