Role Description This full-time, on-site Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer role is based in Warsaw, IN. The CMM Programmer programs, sets up, and operates CMM equipment to perform precise dimensional inspections of components and assemblies. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and optimizing CMM programs, interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T, and verifying that parts meet specified tolerances and quality standards. The role involves performing measurements and inspections, documenting results, assisting with calibration activities, and collaborating with quality and manufacturing teams to resolve dimensional and process issues. The CMM Programmer also supports continuous improvement initiatives and maintains accurate inspection records to ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements.
Qualifications

• Proficiency with gauges and related measurement tools, ensuring accurate and consistent use in production and inspection environments.
• Experience in quality control practices, including interpreting specifications, applying GD&T, and supporting root-cause analysis for nonconformances.
• Strong skills in dimensional measurements, including setup, operation, and verification of CMM equipment and other metrology tools.
• Knowledge of calibration procedures for measurement devices and the ability to maintain calibration records and schedules.
• Hands-on inspection experience, including first-article, in-process, and final inspections for precision components.
• Familiarity with CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS or similar) and ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering, production, and quality teams.
• Relevant technical education or training in machining, metrology, engineering technology, or a related field; prior experience in medical device, aerospace, or precision manufacturing is beneficial.
