Position Summary:
Define the modularization strategy, product architecture, packaging philosophy, and deployment approach for scalable cooling systems ranging from 2 MW prototypes to future multi-megawatt commercial platforms. This role requires close collaboration with controls, mechanical, manufacturing, and thermal engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the modularization strategy for advanced liquid cooling systems.
- Convert stick-built engineering designs into modular, transportable, factory-assembled products.
- Define modular product architecture, including module sizing, interfaces, and scalability.
- Establish standard SKUs to support multiple cooling capacities and customer configurations.
- Define mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and control interfaces between modules.
- Collaborate with the Control Logic Architect to ensure modular control architecture aligns with the physical product design.
- Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Serviceability initiatives.
- Optimize products for transportation, installation, maintenance, and future expansion.
- Work with thermal, process, and mechanical engineers to balance performance, footprint, manufacturability, and cost.
- Support prototype validation and transition from engineering development to commercialization.
- Participate in customer and partner workshops to define future product roadmaps.
Required Technical Competencies

Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering / electrical engineering,
Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
- 12–18 years of experience in large industrial equipment design and modular product development.
- Demonstrated experience converting engineered systems into standardized modular products.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, piping layouts, equipment integration, and industrial packaging.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams through concept development and product realization.
