This position is classified as full-time. The position involves rotating 1st and 2nd shift, 10-hour shifts, 5 days per week. Occasional weekends are needed.
Pay Rate $19/Hour
The Saw Operator position will assist as needed in the day-to-day operations of the bar finishing area. The position requires standing for long periods of time.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Maintain and follow all applicable safety protocols
- Maintain material and bar location identifications
- Maintain strict quality assurance standards and performance
- Forklift operation
- Operation/control of band and plate saws
- Operation of measurement tools including micrometers, roundness gauges, and length measuring devices
- Manual operation of bar conditioning tools
- Must be able to operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner at all times

Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, basic blueprints, and measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to quality
- Ability to operate forklift
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs., bend, stand, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or shifts as needed
