Rate: $50-$55/hr.

Overview: In this position, you will collaborate with senior management, stakeholders and the overall project teams to meet business objectives and provide professional leadership, while fostering mentorship, respect and trust. 

Responsibilities:

·        Oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management towards successful conclusion.

·        Manage large enterprise-type projects that involve multiple internal stakeholders or contracted resources.

·        Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans.

·        Define users and project team members’ roles and responsibilities on the project.

·        Define user requirements, deliverables, and approvals.

·        Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met.

·        Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders.

·        Mentor and provide guidance to intermediate level project managers including recommending training and experience.

Skills:

·        Experience in IT Project Management and IT digital transformation.

·        Prior experience working on State of Indiana large software projects desired.

·        Strong knowledge of information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation.

·        Experience with multiple methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.

·        Ability to translate technology terms and explain concepts of the SDLC to program/business/stakeholders who may have little to no exposure working on or with large software projects/teams.

·        Strong knowledge in leading modernizing Oracle, PL/SQL, data warehouses using BigQuery, Dataflow, and DataStream.

·        Ability to work with technical team members, and other IT professionals to flesh out project plans and risk registers and overcome obstacles.

·        Strong communication and presentation skills required.

Description:

·        Responsible for relationship management, project planning, resource management, tactical execution, and the creation and/or oversight of final project deliverables.

·        Lead end-to-end migration of our on-premises Oracle Data Warehouse to Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
