We are seeking a Manager of Environmental Consulting to lead our team in delivering innovative solutions across various environmental projects. This role involves overseeing project execution, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and providing expert guidance in water resources, wastewater treatment, environmental permitting, and remediation efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and a comprehensive understanding of environmental regulations and reporting. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within manufacturing, oil & gas, construction, and other sectors, contributing to sustainable development and environmental stewardship.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Environmental Consulting team to deliver work safely, on budget and time, and to an acceptable level of quality:
- Create and maintain standards and best practices for the Environmental Consulting team to ensure that team members are clear on what is expected of them and have guidance on how to perform their work:
- Train and mentor Environmental Consulting team staff to ensure that team members have access to the training they need and the opportunity to develop professionally through varied and engaging work:
- Maintain established client relationships to ensure that our clients remain happy with our performance, we have a sense of our client’s business outlook, and that we can take full advantage of any opportunity to secure additional work.
- Contribute to recruitment and succession planning processes to ensure that we have access to a pipeline of high-quality staff and that we are able to fill vacancies through internal promotion wherever possible.
- Support business development activities to grow our top line.
- Participate in annual business planning process to maintain alignment between the business line and the company as a whole.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or related field; professional licensure (PE, CHMM) preferred.
- Extensive experience in environmental consulting with a focus on waste and chemical inventory reporting, permitting industrial faciltiies, remediation, or related disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of environmental law & permitting processes including PA DEP and EPA regulations.
- Demonstrated project management skills with experience managing complex projects across multiple sectors, such as manufacturing or oil & gas.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and technical report writing.
- Ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to water treatment plants or industrial processes is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
