Must-haves
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive health and safety experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or heavy-production environment.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety compliance requirements. Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
Experience leading safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard identification programs. Knowledge of industrial ergonomics, machine guarding, lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space, hot work, and contractor safety programs.
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver safety training to teammates at all levels of the organization. Experience managing OSHA recordkeeping, injury and illness reporting, and regulatory documentation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with teammates, leaders, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and respond to off-shift safety incidents, emergencies, or audits as needed.
Preferred Certifications Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Associate Safety Professional (ASP) Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST) First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Certification
