- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive health and safety experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or heavy-production environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety compliance requirements. Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Experience leading safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard identification programs. Knowledge of industrial ergonomics, machine guarding, lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space, hot work, and contractor safety programs.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver safety training to teammates at all levels of the organization.
- Experience managing OSHA recordkeeping, injury and illness reporting, and regulatory documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with teammates, leaders, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and respond to off-shift safety incidents, emergencies, or audits as needed.
- Preferred Certifications Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Associate Safety Professional (ASP) Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST) First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Certification
