Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineering Consultant with a strong background in risk assessment, failure mode analysis, and maintenance strategy development for heavy mining equipment.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with haul trucks and other mobile mining assets or Transportation or Automotive, and a deep understanding of asset reliability and performance optimization within mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed reliability analyses on mining equipment, with a focus on haul trucks, excavators, and support machinery.
- Perform Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to identify potential points of failure and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and implement risk-based maintenance strategies to improve equipment availability and reduce downtime.
- Support the implementation of Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) technologies.
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to improve overall asset performance and reliability.
- Use reliability engineering tools such as Weibull Analysis, Reliability Block Diagrams, and Life Cycle Cost Analysis.
- Provide consulting services and technical reports with recommendations for improvement based on data-driven insights.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
