Part Time - CEO Executive Assistant and Marketing Manager
We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant and Marketing Manager to work with the CEO to grow the business through marketing initiatives and administration management.

Candidate will support the CEO in a variety of ways: provide administrative support by managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and preparing documents. They will be the primary point of contact for the CEO, maintain confidential information with discretion, and assist with special projects.

Candidate will communicate with other executives, establish new connections to build new relationships. They will communicate with clients, and potential clients. They will participate in event management when the CEO is involved.

Candidate will be involved in marketing via social media posts, text campaigns and email marketing. The ideal candidate will have a track record of growing business utilizing online platforms.

Candidate will work with the marketing team to find new opportunities to showcase the organization in the community and publicize the organization's brands. Candidate will work with the CEO to coordinate fund raisers and other events to showcase and grow the brands.

The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and MS Word. The ideal candidate will be able to structure communications to put the organization in its best light.

These duties will be required for both Tech Tailor Made and BYOC (our non-profit STEM organization for youth). This position will grow to full time. Expected outcomes will be measured based on the allotted time to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Provide general support to customers and potential customers
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Liaise with executive and other staff to handle requests and queries from senior managers

Skills

  • Proven experience as an Executive Administrative Assistant or Office Manager
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Proven experience with online marketing
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Social media marketing skills
  • Work with the CEO to create funding opportunities for the BYOC (non-profit organization)
  • Work with the CEO to plan and execute fund raisers and other events on behalf of BYOC

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
