Cybersecurity SME Consultant
Overview:
JHNA is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Consultant with deep technical expertise and a strong understanding of Navy acquisition and program management, particularly within NAVAIR and NAVSEA, to drive the expansion of our cybersecurity services across the broader Navy environment.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in expanding JHNA's impact in the cybersecurity domain while shaping the future of cybersecurity across the Navy enterprise.
This is a 1099/hourly consulting position which will require the individual to be local to the St. Mary's County, MD area.
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities within NAVAIR and NAVSEA
- Leveraging existing customer relationships, and strategically positioning JHNA's cybersecurity capabilities to align with the Navy's evolving security needs.
Required Qualifications:
- The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active Secret DoD Clearance
- The candidate must have a well-established network within Navy PMSs, PMAs and PEOs, a proven track record in business development, and the ability to translate complex technical solutions into actionable growth strategies.
- 10 years of hands-on experience in platform security, cyber risk assessments (CRA), and the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process across both NAVAIR and NAVSEA programs.
- 10 years of expertise in CYBERSAFE, Operational Testing for Cyber Survivability and Resiliency, supply chain risk management, and anti-tamper measures is essential. Additionally, the ideal candidate must understand the unique
