Senior Systems Analyst Security Architecture
(Austin, TX Hybrid)
We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst with a strong background in information security and cloud architecture to support the design and implementation of secure, modern enterprise systems. This role will focus on building and maintaining secure cloud-native environments, strengthening security frameworks, and partnering with technical teams to ensure best practices across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure system architectures for cloud-native environments
- Perform threat modeling and risk assessments for complex systems
- Ensure security best practices across applications, APIs, and containerized environments
- Lead efforts around Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust Architecture
- Integrate security controls into DevSecOps pipelines
- Configure and manage cloud security posture tools
- Partner with development and infrastructure teams to enhance system security
- Contribute to security standards, frameworks, and governance practices
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in information security and systems architecture
- 8 years of experience designing secure cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred)
- 8 years of experience with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53 or similar)
- 8 years of expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust Architecture
- 8 years of experience performing threat modeling for complex systems
- 8 years of experience securing microservices, APIs, and containerized environments
- 8 years of experience configuring cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools
- 8 years of experience integrating security into DevSecOps pipelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience securing AI/LLM-based systems and data pipelines
- 4 years of experience with data protection strategies (PII, PHI, sensitive data)
- 4 years of experience presenting risk assessments to executive leadership
- 4 years of experience developing enterprise security policies and architecture standards
- 2 years of relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Security
Additional Details:
- Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid 2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
- Schedule: Monday Friday, standard business hours
- Engagement expected through late August 2026, with potential for extension
Requirements:
