AI/ML Software Developer (LLMs & Autonomous Agents)

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with a strong background in AI/ML engineering and large language model (LLM) applications. This role will focus on designing, building, and deploying intelligent systems, including autonomous agents and advanced AI-driven solutions.
This is a hands-on opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-evolving space, contributing to scalable and secure AI implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy AI/ML solutions, including LLM-based applications and autonomous agents
- Develop and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures
- Integrate LLMs into applications using APIs and modern AI frameworks
- Build and optimize multi-agent or agentic workflows
- Ensure secure handling of sensitive data and implement AI governance practices
- Develop context-aware systems and enhance model performance and accuracy
- Implement AI safety controls, guardrails, and content filtering mechanisms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI solutions
Required Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or advanced data science
- 4 years of experience building and deploying production-grade autonomous agents
- 4 years of experience in context engineering
- 4 years of experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGPT
- 4 years of experience implementing RAG architectures using vector databases
- 4 years of proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, Azure AI)
- 4 years of experience integrating LLMs via APIs and working with model lifecycle management
- 4 years of experience implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar approaches for secure data access
- 4 years of experience implementing AI guardrails, content filtering, and safety controls
- 4 years of understanding data privacy and handling of sensitive data (PII/PHI)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience building multi-agent or autonomous agent workflows
- 2 years of experience optimizing LLM cost, token usage, and performance
- 2 years of familiarity with enterprise AI deployment and scalability considerations
Additional Details:
- Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid work environment)
- Schedule: Monday Friday, standard business hours
- Engagement expected through August 2026, with potential for extension
Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
