Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Project Manager 2.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Project Manager 2 within our Portfolio Management Office, you will support our information technology domain areas by leading and coordinating multiple project teams involved in discovery, design, build, rollout, and transition of various IT initiatives. You will partner with senior IT stakeholders to define project scope and objectives, develop detailed work plans, and monitor progress. You will oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, while proactively identifying risks, issues, and dependencies. Your leadership will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This is a 6-month contract position where you'll directly influence strategic technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multiple complex IT projects within the infrastructure, security, and workforce technology domains.
- Partner with project sponsors and senior management to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular status updates and clarity to stakeholders.
- Identify potential project risks, issues, and dependencies, recommending proactive solutions.
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across all project activities.
- Oversee compliance with security standards and incorporate security considerations into project decision-making.
- Manage project teams by organizing resources and assigning tasks to ensure successful delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of IT-related project management experience.
- Proven ability to deliver high-profile programs and multiple end-to-end projects concurrently.
- Strong knowledge of full life cycle development and program management concepts.
- Experience leading projects utilizing Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative methodologies with relevant tools.
- Proficient understanding of technical system concepts such as servers, storage, databases, middleware, and networking.
- Ability to perform effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Excellent meeting facilitation, relationship building, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Capable of managing resources and applying resource management models to project portfolios.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Reside in or near St. Louis, Missouri.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
- Commitment to incorporating security into all aspects of work.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Program or project management experience is a plus.
- Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or equivalent are advantageous.
- Delegated leadership roles on large enterprise efforts or strategic initiatives.
Pay: $46.20 – $66.00 /hr
