Job Summary
Agency 8 is partnering with a fast-growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) to hire a Senior Account Executive responsible for driving new business growth across the Seattle market. This is a 100% hunting role focused on identifying, pursuing, and closing new opportunities within Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity, Cloud, and IT Consulting.
The ideal candidate brings strong MSP sales experience, exceptional prospecting ability, and a proven record of exceeding revenue targets. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, relationship-building with senior decision-makers, and the ability to communicate value in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, presenting tailored IT and cybersecurity solutions.
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to develop targeted sales strategies and campaigns.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to generate leads and strengthen market presence.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and solution overviews.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and handoff of new clients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activities within the CRM (HubSpot).
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Experience selling services within a Managed Services Provider (MSP/MSSP) environment is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of B2B IT Managed Services sales experience, with strong new-logo acquisition success.
- Proven ability to prospect, build pipelines, and close deals within the SMB market.
- Established network of professional contacts in the Seattle, WA area.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
