This role focuses on deploying, managing, and monitoring containerized applications across both public and private cloud environments. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), as well as strong observability and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills are essential, as this is a customer-facing role.

- Role: Kubernetes Cloud Engineer
- Experience: 6-9 Years
- Work Location: Phoenix, AZ
- Project Duration: 12 Month Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, manage, and maintain Kubernetes clusters in public and private cloud environments
- Configure and manage Red Hat OpenShift and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters
- Implement and maintain observability dashboards and metrics using Prometheus and Grafana
- Configure alerts and monitoring to ensure system reliability and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues using observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and others
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud operations and enterprise workloads
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers regarding operational status, issues, and improvements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; Advanced degree preferred
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in public and private cloud environments
- Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana, including dashboards, metrics, and alert configuration
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in customer-facing interactions
