Technogenia, the innovative leader in laser cladding applications, is expanding its sales team in 2026.
Our technology of applying tungsten carbide powders to extend the wear life of critical components is vital to protect against abrasion, erosion, impact, and corrosion. We are looking for a technical salesperson to join our team to drive revenue in industries such as Geothermal, Mining, Biomass, Mixing equipment, HDD, Industrial Pumps and Valves, Recycling and Construction as examples. It is preferred that the ideal candidate should have a technical degree in mechanical or industrial engineering and 3-5 years of successful sales experience. A proven track record of finding prospects, developing leads, and increasing new business is required. Some travel is necessary to maintain existing customer relationships, develop new business and trade show exhibitions. Responsibilities:
• Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance, product education, and after-sales support services.
• Build long-term client relationships by managing and interpreting client’s needs and requirements.
• Meet or exceed company sales objective by achieving assigned annual revenue target.
• Travel as required to support existing clients, develop geographic markets relative to existing client locations, participate in trade shows and necessary sales and product training.
• Ability to quickly adapt to company culture, work closely with management and production teams to effectively support customer needs.
Reporting:
Reports directly to General Manager and works in close coordination with Operations and Production management.
Skills required:
• Utilize various resources for leads and prospects.
• Interpret drawings/Calculate dimensions.
• CRM experience is a plus.
• Ability to use good time management skills to maximize exposure to clients and prospects regionally.
• Effectively communicate company capabilities relative to client applications.
• Proficient in MS Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
