You set up the slitting machine, dial in measurements to 1/16 of an inch, calculate footage, and help keep production flowing for the medical device and pharmaceutical packaging we’re known for.
Shifts Available (Cary location)
We’re a family-owned company serving the medical device and pharmaceutical packaging industry since 1984. From one machine to over 100,000 square feet, we now operate three manufacturing and warehouse facilities with 180 employees. Our operations include laminating, slitting, sheeting, die cutting, fabricating, and flexographic printing of pouches, lids, and roll stock across foil, film, Tyvek, and paper laminates.

Shifts Available (Cary location)
- 1st Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday–Friday
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm, Monday–Friday
- Operate slitting equipment to convert materials that support our press, lamination, and pouch departments, as well as customer rollstock needs.
- Set up machines, verify specs, and measure to 1/16" using a standard ruler (you’ll complete a pre-employment ruler test).
- Use strong basic math to add, subtract, multiply, and divide for lineal footage calculations.
- Handle and maneuver large material rolls, using equipment to move items weighing several hundred pounds.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Required: 2 years of hands-on complex mechanical work (e.g., taking cars or machines apart, replacing engines/transmissions).
- 1 year of machine operator experience is a plus (not required—we will train).
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
- Comfort with measurements to 1/16" and passing a pre-employment ruler test.
- Physically able to lift up to 65 lbs; squat, bend, crouch, and kneel; and push/pull large rolls with equipment. Able to tolerate chemicals and occasional strong odors.
- Previous ISO experience in manufacturing or light industrial settings preferred.
- Background in lamination, packaging, or pharmaceutical industries is helpful but not required—we provide training.
