What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Controller-Manufacturing position at TECHNIFITE?
We are hiring a proactive, business-minded Controller to lead all financial functions at our fast-paced manufacturing facility. This is more than a traditional accounting role — it’s a strategic leadership opportunity to partner directly with plant leadership, influence key business decisions, and drive operational excellence.
This position is 100% on-site and plays a key role in supporting plant performance, profitability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Lead all plant-level finance activities including cost accounting, general accounting, product costing, capacity planning, and time studies
- Analyze operating results, cost trends, and variances to support data-driven business decisions
- Provide clear and timely financial insights to leadership, highlighting performance, risks, and opportunities
- Maintain and improve accounting systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
- Develop and manage forecasting and budgeting models to support strategic planning
- Prepare financial models, analysis, and special project reporting with accuracy and insight
- Supervise and develop accounting team members to drive performance and professional growth
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset management
- Serve as a key member of the plant leadership team, contributing to operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Lead preparation for internal and external audits and maintain audit-ready documentation
What You Will Bring
- Experience in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive manufacturing environment OR high-volume manufacturing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Strong understanding of cost accounting within a manufacturing setting
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence presenting financial information to leadership and cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
