We’re seeking a proactive, business-savvy Controller to lead all financial functions within a dynamic manufacturing facility. This role goes far beyond traditional accounting—it’s an opportunity to serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership, influence key decisions, and help drive operational excellence. You’ll oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and transaction processing while mentoring a small, high-performing accounting team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Lead all plant-level finance activities, including cost accounting, general accounting, product costing, capacity planning, and time studies.
Analyze operating results, cost trends, and variances to support informed business decisions.
Deliver clear, timely financial insights to management, highlighting progress, risks, and performance across plant initiatives.
Enhance and maintain accounting systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Build, refine, and manage forecasting and budgeting models to support strategic planning.
Prepare financial analyses, models, and special project reports with accuracy and insight.
Supervise and develop accounting staff to ensure strong performance and professional growth.
Oversee payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset management.
Participate as a key member of the plant’s leadership team, contributing to planning, continuous improvement, and operational effectiveness initiatives.
Maintain audit documentation, lead preparation for internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting.
Who You’ll Lead
- Direct oversight of the plant’s accounting team.
What We Are Looking For:
- Tier 1 or Tier 2 Automotive plant experience or high volume manufacturing plant experience.
- College or University degree or 4 years of related experience/training — or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Strong ability to interpret complex financial data, technical information, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to craft reports, policies, and business correspondence.
- Confident presenter with the ability to explain financial information to managers, partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Solid analytical and mathematical skills, including the ability to work with percentages, ratios, and cost calculations.
