Job Summary
I have started a small business about a year ago and I need someone who is ready to help this business reach new heights. We are seeking an experienced Repair Manager to oversee and coordinate all repair operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of repair processes, ensuring that all repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The Repair Manager will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, ordering parts, creating estimates based on repair software recommendations, and continuing to provide amazing customer service.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the repair team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Develop and implement repair processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor the performance of repair operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of repaired items to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, including parts used, labor hours, and any issues encountered during the process.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely completion of repairs in alignment with production schedules.
- Train new technicians on equipment operation, safety protocols, and repair techniques.
- Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for diagnosing electrical issues during repairs.
Experience
- Proven experience in a repair management role or similar position within a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Strong knowledge of repair processes, equipment maintenance, and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, including the use of an Ohmmeter for troubleshooting electrical problems.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Computer proficiency
- Bilingual english Spanish is a huge plus
