Join Technical Maintenance Inc (TMI) as an Account Manager and take ownership of new business and customer relationships across Georgia and South Carolina. Work closely with our Atlanta laboratory and operations team to deliver calibration, repair, and asset management solutions while building long-term customer partnerships.
This is an opportunity for a motivated sales professional to grow a territory within an expanding national organization. Technical or metrology sales experience is preferred, but we’re also open to candidates with calibration, quality, manufacturing, or technical backgrounds ready to move into sales.
The position offers a $65,000 annual base salary plus an initial commission incentive for the first six months ramp up.

We operate a nationwide network of 13 full-service ISO/IEC 17025-accredited calibration laboratories and more than two dozen Onsite Technical Services (OTS) programs supporting customers across the U.S.

What You’ll Do
Account & Territory Strategy
- Develop and execute territory and time-management strategies across Georgia and South Carolina.
- Identify new business opportunities through sales intelligence tools, networking, and industry relationships.
- Conduct 12–15 in-person customer meetings each week to assess needs and present TMI solutions.
- Build relationships with stakeholders across quality, calibration, purchasing, and accounting.
- Partner with Branch Managers and lab leadership to develop quotes and respond to RFPs.
Sales & Business Development
- Drive sales of test and measurement calibration and repair services.
- Promote and expand product distribution sales with new and existing customers.
- Grow existing accounts by identifying additional TMI services and solutions.
- Analyze customer markets and competitor activity to develop effective sales strategies.
Operational & Reporting Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate customer and pipeline data in CRM.
- Provide monthly sales activity and performance reports.
- Support customer onboarding and coordination between customers and TMI operations.
- Travel extensively throughout the territory, with travel typically planned and minimal overnight stays.
What We’re Looking For
- Technical or manufacturing sales experience required.
- Calibration, metrology, or technical experience strongly preferred.
- Willingness to regularly travel throughout Georgia and South Carolina.
- Proven B2B sales or business development success, preferably in manufacturing or services.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
- Familiarity with the calibration industry and competitors is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts.
