Radio Frequency Test Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Execution of test procedures for highly complex RF/Microwave prototype boards and instruments

· Support automated RF/microwave/mmwave test stands in both engineering and pre-production environments

· Collection, analysis and archiving of data in a logical format to present to the extended design team

· Debugging test setups and failing boards

· Accurately describing and documenting failures and issues that arise during the testing and debugging phase

· Ensures External and Internal Customer Satisfaction.

· Must be self-motivated, team oriented, “hands-on”, and work with minimal supervision

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required

· Possess strong RF systems troubleshooting skills

· Experienced testing and characterizing RF systems up to 40GHz

· Experience with both analog and digital circuits is a plus

· Hands-on lab experience with various electronic measuring devices such as network analyzers, digital voltmeters, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, function generators.

· Read and understand mechanical and schematic drawings

· Possess good computer skills: Word processing, (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Works), Spreadsheets, (Microsoft Excel preferred), Working knowledge of PC operating systems (Windows preferred)

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. Able to absorb, assimilate and synthesize information quickly

· BS in electrical engineering, with coursework focused on analog, RF, and microwave circuits or AS experience
