Masters Degree in a related field AND a minimum of 18 graduate hours in political science/American government is required. Unofficial transcripts are required when applying.

Job Duties
Teaching Responsibilities
- Instruction including hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.
- Assess the accomplishment of students on a regular basis. Maintain records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
- Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for course.
- Work with other areas of the college such as Tutoring, Retention, etc. to help ensure student success.
- Prepare reports in cooperation with the Division Dean for input in planning/reporting system and/or for submission to the accrediting body of the college or programs.
- Attend relevant professional meetings.
- Represent the college positively in interactions with the community and with professional and academic groups at local, state, and national levels.
