Teaching Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction in engineering concepts through lectures, demonstrations, and applied learning activities.
- Facilitate effective classroom and/or laboratory learning environments.
- Develop and implement course syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials aligned with course outcomes.
- Assess student learning through assignments, projects, examinations, and other evaluation methods.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic progress in accordance with college policies.
- Recommend textbooks, laboratory materials, and other instructional resources for engineering courses.
- Utilize instructional technologies and learning management systems to support teaching and learning.
- Collaborate with faculty and academic support units, such as tutoring and student success services, to promote student achievement.
- Assist with the preparation of course-related documentation and reports as needed for program review, planning, or accreditation purposes.
- Maintain current knowledge of developments in engineering and related technologies.
- Participate in relevant professional development activities when possible.
- Represent the College professionally in interactions with students, colleagues, and community partners.
