Job Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

Provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department by serving as the initial point of contact for employees, candidates, and visitors, coordinating HR communications and activities, and assisting with onboarding, events, and records management. Supports the efficiency and organization of HR processes, including the transition to digital recordkeeping systems.

Job Duties:

1. Serves as a primary front-facing representative for the HR office by welcoming visitors, assisting employees and candidates, managing office flow, and ensuring a professional and responsive environment.

2. Assists HR communications and coordination activities by overseeing the HR email inbox, responding to routine inquiries, routing requests appropriately, and working with our HR coordinator to schedule and facilitate on-campus interviews, including candidate support.

3. With guidance from HR Coordinator and HR Manager, coordinate onboarding and employee experience initiatives by assisting with new employee onboarding, preparing materials, and supporting wellness programs and events to enhance employee engagement.

4. Maintains HR records and supports digital transformation efforts by ensuring accurate and confidential file management, and assisting with the scanning, indexing, and transition of physical documentation to electronic systems.

5. Provides general administrative and operational support to the HR team through data entry, document preparation, tracking HR activities, and performing other duties as assigned.
Minimum and Additional Requirements

Associates Degree with experience as an administrative assistant, office manager or HR assistant.
