The Production Technician II is a skilled manufacturing role responsible for operating advanced machinery, performing intermediate setups, and supporting efficient and safe production operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining product quality through accurate blueprint interpretation, in process inspections, and adherence to established standards. The technician proactively monitors equipment performance, conducts preventive maintenance, and troubleshoots routine production issues to minimize downtime and ensure consistent workflow.

- Operates advanced machinery and performs intermediate setups and adjustments
- Monitors machine performance and performs preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoots routine production issues and proposes corrective actions
- Reads and interprets complex blueprints and specifications
- Conducts in-process inspections and ensures parts meet quality standards
- Trains junior team members and processes equipment
- Maintains a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards
- Education: High School Diploma/GED; Vocational or technical training in manufacturing, machinery, or related field (preferred)
- Experience: 2 years of production experience or specialized training
- Intermediate understanding of machine operations and production processes
- Proficient in interpreting blueprints and technical specifications
- Experience with quality control procedures and tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for equipment and process issues
