Overview:
We are seeking a Mechanical Lead Design Engineer to design and develop robust ADAS sensing systems for next-generation electric vehicles. This role focuses on creating reliable sensor mounts, ensuring performance under thermal, shock, and vibration conditions, and working with cross-functional teams to bring innovative ADAS products into production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and validate sensor mounts and assemblies for ADAS systems.
- Perform tolerance stack-ups, thermal, structural, and optical simulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Tier 1 suppliers for packaging and manufacturability.
- Ensure robust designs using CAE tools (ANSYS), SPEOS, and CATIA.
- Drive testing and validation for shock, vibration, and environmental performance.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of mechanical design experience.
- Proficiency in CATIA 3D CAD and GD&T.
- Experience with plastic/injection molding, rapid prototyping, and CAE tools.
- Strong background in ADAS mechanical component design and vehicle integration.
