Job Title: Material HandlerLocation: Pleasanton, CA, 94588 (onsite)Pay rate: $21.50/hrContract Duration: 6 months with possible extension.Work Hours: 7AM - 3:30PMClient: ABBOTT LaboratoriesJob ID: ABOJP00043801Job Summary:The Material Handler II is responsible for ensuring all inventory is maintained accurately and provided to the required areas on time.Job Duties:List the significant/essential duties, tasks or responsibilities which employees in this position are required to perform.Perform Material Movements both physically and systematicallyGenerate Work Orders from an ERP systemPerform Work Order Receipts in the ERP systemPerform cycle counting as requiredMaintain a neat and safe work environmentAssist in the coordination and flow of product through manufacturing and assembly when neededWork in a cross-functional team environmentSome areas will require the handling of chemicals, with proper training providedMust work overtime as required for business needsSupport all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.Requirements:Material handling in the medical devices or the FDA industryProficiency in SAP/ERP systemsCycle counting experienceHigh School DiplomaCompany DescriptionTechLink Systems is a national provider of staffing services with offices all over the USA as well as development and support centers globally.
