Job Title: Logistics TechnicianDuration: 3 Months (Temp to Perm)Location: Fremont, CAPay rate: $21.45/hr on W2.Shift: 8AM – 4:30 PM M-F Qualifications:SAP Experience is a plus or prior ERP experience. 2 years of relevant industry experience in logistics operations (shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory management).Ability to follow all work instructions and safety protocols.Ability to understand the properties and hazards associated with chemicals and compressed gases.Must be able to life 50 pounds on a regular.• Perform shipping and receiving related ERP (SAP HANA) transactions• Ensure accuracy of all transactions within ERP (SAP HANA) to ensure accurate data for operational efficiency• Prepare shipping paperwork according to Policy and D.O.T regulations.• Contact Common Carriers and *** locations to coordinate delivery and pickup of cylinders and other materials.• The ship, Receive and Deliver supplies, materials, and equipment• Operate a forklift to load and unload carrier trucks• Load and unload sea containers, including appropriate blocking and bracing in line with IMO, IMDG, and Customs requirements• Maintain Inventory Control records• Conduct inventory cycle counts• Collaborating with internal departments to locate a cylinder or canisters• Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.• Keep all material handling equipment’s in the best condition by conducting regular inspections• Escalates any potential Safety or Quality concerns• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse• Comply with all company safety policies and OSHA and MSDS Standards• Complete all assigned training• Ability to roll cylinders- Rolling cylinders require an individual to tilt a cylinder slightly with one hand and use the other hand to move the cylinder forward by rolling it.• Fitness for duty, including but not limited to the ability to lift 50 pounds and can climb ladders.Company DescriptionSelect Source International (SSI) is a distinguished staffing company with nearly 25 years of experience, renowned for delivering top-tier workforce solutions encompassing staffing, recruiting, and managed services.
