What are the responsibilities and job description for the Join Our Team as a Patient Scheduler | AA2026 position at Techlink Systems?
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments for PCPs, RNs, LPNs, and internal/external specialists (dentist, optometrist, psychiatrist, etc.)
- Maintain clinic calendars and exam room scheduling
- Coordinate and dispatch drivers for participant transportation to/from medical appointments and adult day health visits
- Utilize scheduling software, EMR systems (Epic preferred), and Easy Rides transportation software
- Communicate with internal/external providers and manage appointment notices and reminders
- Order clinic supplies and maintain accurate records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Associates degree preferred
- 2 years experience scheduling medical appointments and/or dispatching medical transportation
- Proficient in Outlook; knowledge of Microsoft Office products preferred
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to handle shifting priorities and work independently
- Reliable vehicle preferred and ability to travel to other sites as needed
