Job Title: Financial Support Level
Location: Chicago, IL 60606, USA
Work Type: 100% fully onsite
Work Hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday through Friday
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or without degree but has experience (degree in tax, accounting, finance preferably)
Intern level support.
at least 2 years - like kind of grad student level
Has interest in tax accounting that kind of field
solid understanding of excel
strong communication skills
Team player
Flexible and available to wherever needs are required
Description:
Part of Abbott's corporate tax team specifically.
Team of about 30 people.
Anything from financial analysis like reviewing pnl's, making adjustments to ensure that our calculations are supportable from a tax perspective, some understanding of international kind of tax rules and laws. Some kind of technical like aptitude to understand.
They could be supporting foreign audit defense in terms of drafting emails, communications, participate in meetings, etc.

This position is NonExempt.
Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half.
Experienced accountant or financial analyst is necessary with focus on cost accounting & financial reporting.
Candidate must have Bachelors Degree in accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA/MBA a plus).
Salary : $22
