We are seeking a hands-on technology support professional to provide reliable audio/visual, end-user technology, and equipment support across a variety of corporate meetings, public-facing events, and day-to-day operations. This role will troubleshoot and maintain A/V systems, computers, mobile devices, multifunction printers, scanners, and related equipment while providing both on-site and remote technical assistance. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, comfortable supporting live events, and able to respond to technology issues in a timely manner, including participation in an after-hours on-call rotation.

Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain audio/visual and end-user technology equipment.
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for A/V systems, computers, laptops, mobile devices, multifunction printers, scanners, and plotters.
  • Set up, operate, and break down equipment for meetings, presentations, conferences, public events, and other onsite or remote sessions.
  • Support live meeting and broadcast technologies, including video conferencing systems, projectors, displays, microphones, speakers, mixers, and streaming/broadcast equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, connectivity, configuration, and equipment-related issues based on customer support requests.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on multifunction printers, scanners, and plotters.
  • Coordinate equipment deliveries, installations, relocations, and removals with internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Provide technical support for corporate communications, public outreach, and other organization-sponsored events at various locations.
  • Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides, technical procedures, equipment documentation, and end-user training materials.
  • Assist users with the proper operation and use of supported technology and equipment.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple support requests, scheduled activities, and event requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve technology support processes, procedures, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed to resolve equipment and service issues.
  • Stay current with emerging A/V, workplace technology, printing, networking, and collaboration solutions.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 technical support when required.
  • Support occasional evening, weekend, and holiday events based on business needs.
  • Perform other related duties and technical support activities as assigned.

Must-Haves
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Entry-level professional experience setting up, operating, supporting, or maintaining audio/visual equipment such as displays, projectors, and public address systems.
  • Hands-on experience supporting multifunction printers, scanners, plotters, or similar business equipment.
  • Experience working within a structured or tiered IT support environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, analyze problems, and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Basic understanding of PC networking concepts, terminology, and connectivity.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environments and Active Directory.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Valid Texas Class C driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to support occasional events outside of standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-Haves
  • Associate degree or higher in Information Technology, Electronics, Communications, or a related field.
  • CompTIA A certification.
  • CompTIA Network certification.
  • Additional training or experience in audio/visual technology.
  • Experience supporting live events, broadcast technology, or video production environments.
  • Familiarity with reprographics, commercial printing, or document imaging equipment.
  • Experience creating technical documentation, troubleshooting procedures, or end-user training materials.
  • Experience coordinating with technology vendors or third-party service providers.
