We are seeking an IT Project Manager to drive the successful technology deployment for major new hospital and facility expansions. This role focuses on the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects that ensure new clinical spaces are fully operational.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead technical rollouts for new construction, coordinating the deployment of IT infrastructure and clinical applications (e.g., servers, networking, hardware).
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with IT and security standards.
- Oversee system integration, including connecting medical devices (e.g., digital scales) with the Epic EMR and backend systems.
- Manage budgets and resources, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and on time.
- Serve as the primary liaison for external vendors, managing scope, communication, and performance.
- Utilize strong influencing skills to coordinate cross-functional teams (Facilities, Clinical Operations, etc.).
- Assist in the migration of project tracking from Smartsheet to ServiceNow.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3 years of professional experience in IT project management.
- Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships and technical site rollouts.
- Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.
Preferred (Nice-to-Haves):
- Healthcare IT or hospital project experience.
- PMP Certification or equivalent project management credentials.
- Familiarity with clinical system integration (Epic, device connectivity).
- Experience with ServiceNow or Smartsheet.
