POSITION SUMMARY
The Workday Systems Analyst / HRIS Systems Analyst will evaluate the overall design of assigned HR technology projects and recommend effective technical solutions based on business requirements, system capabilities, and industry best practices.
The analyst will lead projects from initial ideation and requirements gathering through solution design, implementation, testing, and successful integration into existing business processes. This position will serve as the primary technical liaison between HR business stakeholders, internal IT teams, external vendors, and technology partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead global HR technology projects and enterprise-level initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate technical options, and recommend solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Serve as the primary technical contact between HR business teams, internal IT, suppliers, and external vendors.
- Own assigned HRIS functionality, integrations, technical solutions, and long-term technology roadmaps.
- Manage the identification, investigation, and resolution of business-process, system, integration, and data issues.
- Coordinate project planning and delivery across internal technology teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
- Participate in all phases of the IT Systems Development Lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-production support.
- Translate evolving business requirements into scalable system features, enhancements, and technical solutions that improve productivity.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of HR business processes, system functionality, technical best practices, and supplier platforms.
- Evaluate current processes and recommend system or workflow improvements that increase efficiency and improve the user experience.
- Develop and maintain the technical roadmap by defining, clarifying, prioritizing, and sequencing outcomes that support business strategy.
- Perform data mining and analysis to identify trends, investigate issues, and support informed business decisions.
- Ensure system solutions and integrations comply with accessibility, localization, security, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project risks, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely and high-quality completion.
- Provide transparent project communication, status updates, issue escalation, and resolution plans to business and technical stakeholders.
- Provide technical training, knowledge transfer, and mentorship to team members.
- Maintain awareness of Workday, supplier-system, and broader HR technology developments.
- Promote technical standards, system governance, reusable solutions, and continuous process improvement.
- Build strong relationships with diverse global stakeholders and maintain a high level of internal customer satisfaction.
- Work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive assigned deliverables through completion.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as a Workday Systems Analyst, HRIS Systems Analyst, HR Technology Analyst, or similar position.
- Strong understanding of HR business processes and enterprise HR technology platforms.
- Experience leading technical projects from initial requirements through implementation and production support.
- Experience supporting HRIS functionality, system enhancements, and integrations.
- Strong requirements gathering, business analysis, technical documentation, and solution-design capabilities.
- Experience identifying and resolving system, integration, business-process, and data-quality issues.
- Understanding of the complete IT Systems Development Lifecycle.
- Experience coordinating projects with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, suppliers, and external vendors.
- Strong data-analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and manage technical roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead enterprise-level initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with a consistent record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
