We are seeking a results-driven Manager, Portfolio Operations to design, implement, and operate a unified enterprise technology demand intake process and oversee SOX-related control change management.
In this role, you will ensure that all new technology initiatives and control-affecting changes are systematically captured, evaluated, and routed through standardized workflows. By partnering closely with Technology Portfolio Managers, IT Risk & Compliance, Delivery & Operations, Architecture, and Finance, you will bring predictability, transparency, and audit readiness to our global technology portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Demand Intake Management: Operate and optimize the enterprise technology demand intake process; manage request capture, triaging, prioritization, and governance routing.
- SOX Control Change Coordination: Centrally track, document, and coordinate SOX-related control changes, facilitating cross-functional alignment and maintaining continuous audit readiness.
- Process Optimization: Define, document, and continuously refine demand intake workflows and the SOX control change lifecycle to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance throughput.
- Tool Administration: Configure and administer enterprise portfolio and workflow platforms used for intake, status tracking, and executive reporting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate alignment across technical and business stakeholder groups to ensure seamless, end-to-end process execution.
- Operational Reporting: Produce actionable metrics and dashboards on demand pipeline health, intake throughput, and control change activity for executive review.
Key Qualifications
Required:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project/Portfolio Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical technology experience), combined with 8 years supporting portfolio operations, demand management, PMO functions, or governance.
- Compliance & Lifecycles: Solid working knowledge of SOX controls, change governance, and technology delivery lifecycles.
- Tooling Expertise: Hands-on experience operating enterprise portfolio or workflow management platforms (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Planview, ServiceNow, Clarity, or similar).
- Process Design: Proven track record of designing and operationalizing scalable intake processes or governance frameworks.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional facilitation skills with the ability to translate complex governance requirements into practical operational workflows across cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Direct experience supporting regulated industries or complex SOX control environments.
- Practical experience configuring or administering workflow engines (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, ADO).
- Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or product-centric technology delivery models.
- Advanced analytical, metrics reporting, and creates dashboards.
