Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of our Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and experience with MES software solutions.
You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring successful delivery of the MES project while meeting quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution:
Develop detailed project plans including scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation for MES implementation.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with key stakeholders including IT, operations, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate cross-functional teams ensuring effective communication and collaboration among members to achieve project goals.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and challenges in the project and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables.
Change Management:
Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth transition and adoption of the MES by all users.
Training & Support:
Coordinate training for end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure successful operation of the MES.
Performance Monitoring:
Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and operational efficiency post-implementation.
Reporting:
Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, challenges, and achievements.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, operations, and best practices
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, PPT, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Prior MES software solutions program experience
