RF Engineer combination with PCB Testing
RF Engineer PCB Testing – Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test RF circuits, RF modules, and high-frequency PCB systems.
- Perform PCB testing, debugging, and validation using lab equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, VNA, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, and Power Meter.
- Analyze RF performance parameters including impedance matching, gain, return loss, VSWR, noise figure, and signal integrity.
- Support PCB bring-up activities, troubleshooting hardware failures, and identifying root causes in RF/analog circuits.
- Conduct RF measurements and compliance testing as per industry standards and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with PCB layout, hardware, and manufacturing teams to improve RF performance and EMI/EMC reliability.
- Prepare test reports, validation documents, and maintain engineering test records.
- Work on soldering, rework, and component-level debugging for RF and mixed-signal PCBs.
- Assist in prototype development, production testing, and failure analysis during NPI/manufacturing stages.
- Knowledge of RF simulation/design tools and PCB design software such as ADS, HFSS, Altium, Cadence, or KiCad is preferred.

- RF fundamentals and microwave concepts
- PCB troubleshooting and hardware debugging
- Understanding of antennas, filters, amplifiers, and transmission lines
- Familiarity with IPC standards and EMI/EMC testing
- Good analytical and documentation skills
