What are the responsibilities and job description for the AVEVA PI System (OSIsoft PI) position at TechClub Inc?

· Capability to act as a technical leader / SME .
- Strong technical knowledge of AVEVA PI Architecture
- Strong experience with AVEVA PI System (OSIsoft PI) suite
- Hands-on experience with: o PI Data Archive, PI AF, PI Vision o PI Interfaces (OPC, Modbus, etc.)
- Knowledge of SCADA, DCS, or industrial control systems - Experience in data modeling, time-series databases
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (OPC DA/UA, MQTT, etc.)
- Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python preferred)
- Understanding of networking, system architecture, and cybersecurity basics
- Should have sound understanding of AVEVA PI security principles and their application.
Good to have:
- .Net framework
- Experience working with Electrical Utilities will be an added advantage
Design, implement, and maintain AVEVA PI System (OSIsoft PI) architecture including:
o PI Data Archive o PI AF (Asset Framework)
o PI Vision / PI Coresight o PI Interfaces and Connectors
Configure and manage data collection from SCADA/DCS/IoT systems into PI Historian
Develop and maintain:
o AF structures, templates, and hierarchies
o Event frames and analytics (PI Analytics / Asset Analytics)
Perform data integration with enterprise systems such as:
o ADMS/EMS/DMS o ERP systems o Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) - Build dashboards and visualization using PI Vision / Power BI / other BI tools
Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance optimization - Troubleshoot issues related to:
o Data latency, interface failures, and connectivity o Performance bottlenecks
Implement security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies
Support real-time monitoring, reporting, and operational analytics use cases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including OT, IT, and business stakeholders
