We’re hiring a Quality Technician to support manufacturing operations by performing inspections, supporting the production floor, and helping drive continuous quality improvements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on inspection work, collaborating with production teams, and working in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
What You’ll Do
- Release finished products for shipping by verifying documentation and required certifications
- Perform dimensional inspections, including PPAP and First Article parts
- Apply basic GD&T concepts during inspections and audits
- Provide quality support directly on the production floor, including helping interpret drawings and teaching proper measurement techniques
- Inspect incoming raw materials and manufactured parts per established procedures
- Collect and evaluate inspection data and assist with quality metrics reporting
- Program and operate FARO and Micro‑Vu measurement equipment
- Prioritize work orders and manage tasks within the quality lab
- Conduct internal audits of workmanship and documentation
- Develop and perform calibration procedures in accordance with ISO standards
- Support root cause and corrective action activities related to customer complaints or internal issues
- Train and support new quality inspectors with daily responsibilities
- Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of hands‑on quality inspection experience, preferably in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with continuous improvement or ISO‑based quality management systems
- Ability to read work instructions, drawings, and basic correspondence
- Comfortable presenting information in small group or one‑on‑one settings
- Strong math skills, including working with fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages, and basic data interpretation
- Basic proficiency with computers, including email, spreadsheets, and word processing
Nice to Have
- Certification as a Quality Technician
- Experience programming or operating FARO or Micro‑Vu measurement equipment
- Associate degree or coursework in a related technical or manufacturing field
