Position Responsibilities And Expectations
- Own full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
- Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously with a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership
- Proactively source and engage candidates using diverse channels (ATS, job boards, networking, direct outreach)
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring strategy, and candidate profiles
- Drive hiring outcomes by reducing time-to-fill and improving candidate quality
- Coordinate and facilitate interview processes, including scheduling across multiple time zones as needed
- Deliver a high-quality, consistent candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures
- Support credentialing, Workers’ Compensation, drug screenings, and MVR reporting in partnership with the HR Generalist, who maintains overall program ownership.
- Maintain accurate, timely data within the ATS (Paycor) and ensure process visibility
- Identify and implement improvements to recruiting processes, workflows, and overall efficiency
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Partner with HR team members to support onboarding, training, and employee experience initiatives
- Support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, transfers, and separations
- Assist with credentialing, background checks, drug screenings, and compliance-related processes
- Support Workers’ Compensation administration and documentation as needed
- Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and general support
- Support HR projects and other initiatives aligned with business and operational needs
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Associate’s degree preferred
- SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platform(s)
- Strong ability to assess candidate qualifications and align talent with business needs
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across teams
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to operate with urgency, adaptability, and flexibility, including supporting hiring activities across multiple time zones
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must maintain a driving record that meets the requirements of Tech Systems’ automobile insurance carrier
- Must be able to travel as required to support business needs
- This role is primarily remote; however, occasional travel may be required to support business needs, including interviews at the corporate office. The position is expected to operate primarily within Eastern Time Zone business hours, with flexibility to support candidates and hiring managers across multiple time zones as needed.
- Work is performed in a virtual environment and requires prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, and virtual communication. Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting may be required.
