Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced recruiter with deep expertise in the automotive industry and a strong track record in executive hiring. This role will lead end-to-end recruitment for senior leadership positions, partnering closely with business leaders to attract and hire top-tier talent across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end executive search mandates for leadership roles (Director, VP, CXO levels) within the automotive domain
- Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business strategy, workforce planning, and leadership hiring needs
- Develop and execute targeted talent mapping and market intelligence strategies across OEMs, Tier 1/2 suppliers, and mobility companies
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of passive leadership candidates through networking and industry engagement
- Drive candidate assessment, interview design, and offer negotiation for senior hires
- Ensure a high-touch, professional candidate and stakeholder experience throughout the hiring lifecycle
- Collaborate with external search firms where required and manage vendor relationships
- Track and report key recruitment metrics, market insights, and hiring trends
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all executive hiring processes
Key Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience in recruitment, with a significant focus on automotive industry hiring
- Proven experience handling executive search / leadership hiring mandates
- Strong understanding of automotive value chain (OEMs, suppliers, EV, mobility, manufacturing, R&D)
- Demonstrated ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders and leadership teams
- Expertise in talent mapping, headhunting, and market research
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in either in-house leadership hiring or executive search firms
- High level of discretion and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience hiring for EV, autonomous, or next-gen mobility sectors
- Exposure to global hiring or multi-region leadership searches
- MBA or equivalent qualification
