Description:
Responsible for all tasks that lead to the successful recruitment of new physicians. Keeps the candidates and the customer well informed and ensures that all referencing and credentialing paperwork is completed and referred in a timely manner, while working closely with the physician recruiter. Assists in developing philosophies, plans, strategies and tactics that insure the success of the physician recruitment process. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Assists the recruiters to effectively monitor the candidate pool by forwarding applications and transfer requests to hiring managers, maintaining applicant referral tracking log, notifying recruitment staff when a position's status changes, and in the absence of the recruiter screening calls and sourcing/ referring candidates to hiring managers based upon position requirements.
Assists the recruiters with the new hire process by preparing new hire packets, preparing job offer/confirmation letters, and updating candidates on the status.
Communicates with potential applicants, following all applicable guidelines, employment laws and Sutter Health’s employment practices.
May conduct candidate searches in the applicant data base as requested by recruiter and/or as deemed necessary.
Assists recruiters in planning, developing and implementing proactive recruitment strategies. Works with advertising agency to coordinate advertising campaigns to include newspaper, direct mail, professional journals in a cost-effective manner to produce a qualified candidate pool, as directed by the recruiter.
Maintains a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism in all contacts with internal and external customers. Ensures confidential data or communications are handled appropriately when routed/distributed.
EDUCATION: Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.HS Diploma: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) or equivalent education/experience
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
1 year recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Written and verbal communications and customer service skills with the ability to listen well.Customer service skills and organizational skills.Must have the ability to handle confidential information.Must be able to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.Attention to detail, work at a high level of accuracy, work with timelines and problem solve in real time situationsGeneral skills in computer applications and office equipment including MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
